By using the Retro Redeemed website (retroredeemed.com) or engaging our repair services and purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

Services Overview

Retro Redeemed provides console repair services specializing in the Nintendo 3DS family of devices, as well as the sale of parts, accessories, and related products. All services are subject to parts availability, technician capacity, and the conditions outlined in our Service Limitations policy.

Repair Services

When you submit a repair request through our website, you are requesting a diagnostic evaluation — not committing to a repair. Here's how the process works:

• You will receive a quote before any repair work begins. No work is performed without your explicit approval.
• Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. The final cost may change after physical inspection and diagnostic, and we will notify you of any changes before proceeding.
• Completed repairs are non-refundable, as they involve skilled labor and console-specific parts. See our Refunds & Returns policy for details.
• All repairs are backed by a 60-day warranty as described in our Our Guarantee section.

Shipping & Risk of Loss

When you ship your console to us for repair, you are responsible for the console until it is received at our facility. We strongly recommend shipping with tracking and insurance. We are not liable for consoles lost or damaged in transit to us. Once your repaired console is in our possession and ready for return shipping, we assume responsibility for insured return transit as described in our Shipping Policy.

Product Purchases

Product descriptions, images, and prices are provided as accurately as possible but may contain minor errors. We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or descriptions and to cancel orders placed at an incorrect price. All sales are subject to the return and refund terms described in our Refunds & Returns policy.

Payment

Payments for repairs and product purchases are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We do not store your credit card information on our systems.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Retro Redeemed's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific repair or product giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of saved game progress, or loss of use of your device.
• We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, undisclosed damage, or issues unrelated to the repair we performed.

Assumption of Risk

Console repair involves inherent risks. While we take every precaution to preserve your device, certain repairs carry a risk of complications (for example, ribbon cable damage on aging hardware, or brittle components that may break during disassembly). If any unexpected issue arises during a repair, we will contact you immediately to discuss options before proceeding. By submitting your console for repair, you acknowledge these inherent risks.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Retro Redeemed website — including text, images, logos, page designs, and photography — is our property or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.

Nintendo, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, and related trademarks are the property of Nintendo Co., Ltd. Retro Redeemed is an independent repair service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo.

User Conduct

You agree not to use our website or services to submit false or misleading information, engage in fraudulent activity, or interfere with the operation of our website. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
